The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
WHO ARE THEY? They are the "Guardians" of the Throne of God, and accompany it wherever it goes (Ez. 1:24-28). The four living creatures are a special, exalted order of angelic being or cherubim. This is clear by their close proximity to the throne of God. Ezekiel 1:12–20. These four living creatures do not rest day or night as they protect the throne of GOD in its holiness.
They have the likeness of four faces: of a man, an ox, a lion, and an eagle. They seem to be representative of various parts of God's creation (humanity, domesticated animals, the wild beasts, and birds). These living creatures worship God continually.
The cherubim represent God's redeemed people. The qualities of the four faces are those which belong to God's people. His warriors, that walks in covenant with their Bridegroom. They are facing four ways, towards all quarters of the globe, representing their duty of extending the truth. The wings show swiftness of obedience;

About Ilse Kleyn
Since my hands could hold a pencil, I started to draw on anything I could find. I am the third generation on my mother's side who shows artistic talent. After high school, I started a career in the South African Police Service as a Police artist, drawing wanted criminals, stolen goods, designing pamphlets, posters, ext. My background as an identikit artist laid the foundation for my exquisite style. I only started to paint with acrylic late in the 1990's, doing small projects only for family and friends. Soon I discovered the magic of painting in oil and never looked back. After a career of 16 years in the South African Police Service, I pursued my dream and started painting full time in 2006.
